The West of England CA has appointed Patricia Greer as permanent chief executive.
Ms Greer has been chief executive of the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership since July 2016 and interim chief executive of the CA since it was established in February this year.
West of England mayor Tim Bowles said he was “delighted” with the appointment.
He added: “Her experience of leading the LEP and setting up the combined authority, of working in and with business, local government, central government and her academic background means she is ideally placed to help lead the organisation as we put in place our plans to deliver better transport, housing and jobs for our residents.”
Ms Greer began the role as permanent chief executive on October 1.
She said: “I’m looking forward to working with the mayor and our key partners to deliver our plans for economic growth to benefit every resident.”
