Round gets top post at Tandridge

Tandridge DC has appointed Louise Round as its new chief executive following the retirement of incumbent Stephen Weigel.

Ms Round will leave her post as director of resources at Islington LBC to take up the position. She was previously head of legal services at Hammermith & Fulham LBC.

“I am really looking forward to joining Tandridge District, building on the excellent work Stephen Weigel and his staff are doing, to take forward the priorities of the council,” she said. “Tandridge is a beautiful part of the country and I am sure I will enjoy working there.”

Council leader, Gordon Keymer (Con), described the authority as delighted that Ms Round had accepted the position. “Stephen will be a hard act to follow, but I am confident Louise will work with staff and councillors to continue to enhance and provide the excellent services our residents have come to expect.”

Ms Round will take up the post in January.
