One of the longest serving chief executives in local government has announced he will step down after 23 years in the role.

Jerry Hutchinson will retire from his position at North Warwickshire BC on 31 March next year.

Mr Hutchinson said: “Of course I will be sad to leave. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some fantastic people, including officers, councillors, partners and the wider North Warwickshire Community.

”I feel very lucky to have spent so many of my 41 years in local government at such a great local authority.”
