Bedfordshire CC has gone out to the market as it looks to increase the property investments of its pension fund. The county currently manages around£17m worth of property assets in-house, but has now invited tenders from external managers to manage a portfolio of up to£50m.
-Invesco's windfall
Invesco Asset Management has landed a£20m cash management mandate from Horsham DC. The brief for the firm is to provide returns above the seven day LIBID rate. The consultant involved in the appointment was Butlers.
-Aon wins Bristol
Aon Consulting has been appointed to deliver administration, actuarial and consultancy services to the Bristol Port Pension Scheme. It is worth£40m and has 450 members.
