A council worker who won a record payout because her job made her ill is contemplating a new career as a stress counsellor, according to the Birmingham Post (p4).

Beverley Lancaster was awarded£67,000 by Birmingham City Council two months ago. It was the first time an employer admitted liability for injury caused by stress at work.

The former housing officer said: 'Many employers would see me as a risk. But a lot of large companies have consultants looking at stress management.'
