Two Aberdeen City Council employees who received severance packages under the local government review before being re-employed and then having their contracts terminated again because the council believed it had made an error, have been reinstated (LGC, 21 November 1996).

The unnamed pair were back at work with the council for the third time this week when the Scottish Office told the council it had not made a mistake re-employing them.
