Salmond reshuffles front bench

SNP leader Alex Salmond has reshuffled his frontbench team with three ministers being replaced - subject to Parliamentary approval.

Culture minister Linda Fabiani, schools minister Maureen Watt, and housing and sports minister Stewart Maxwell all stand down from their current posts.

Michael Russell, currently minister for Environment, is to replace Linda Fabiani as culture minister, and will also take responsibility for the constitution.

Alex Neil is to replace Stewart Maxwell as minister for Housing and Communities.

Shona Robison, currently minister for Public Health, will assume responsibility for sport and become minister for Public Health and Sport.

Keith Brown is to replace Maureen Watt as minister for Schools and Skills.
