A major new information package, issued by The Scottish Office, brings together three publications containing a range of key statistics and related information on schools, further education, community education and higher education in Scotland.

The Annual Review brings together a selection of the most significant information from more specialised statistical bulletins and

other publications into a single volume. It provides a general purpose

reference publication for academics, the media, members of the public

and all those with an interest in Scottish Education. The Annual

Review is also intended to give an indication of the range of statistics available from the department.

The Fact Card presents key facts about the Scottish Education

system in a summary format for the years 1985-86, 1990-91, 1994-95

and 1995-96.

The Guide to Sources brings together in one reference document the range of statistical sources used to generate information on Scottish Education, together with examples of the forms used to collect statistical data.
