Counting officers from Scotland's 32 local authorities have submitted to the chief counting officer their estimated declaration times for the referendum on the Scottish parliament.

The returns show that first declarations are likely to come from

Clackmannanshire Council and East Renfrewshire Council, with returns estimated at 12.30 am on Friday, September 12. The main cluster of declarations is likely to fall between 2.00am and 3.00am, with the final return coming in around 4.30am.
