Officials from Sedgemoor DC banned food for a school Christmas party, the Times reports (p7).

The paper says the officials banned jelly and cakes from a Christmas party at St Mary's Primary School in Bridgwater, Somerset after an anonymous tip off told environment health officers that food storage facilities at the school were inadequate.

The school has only one refrigerator for storing ready prepared school meals.
