Camden LBC unions have called in regional employer and staff representatives to settle a dispute over terms and conditions.

The council has told 3,000 staff to choose between redundancy and new contracts, with reduced, more flexible terms and conditions. Around 2,400 others have already signed.

Councillors will vote in two weeks on whether to implement a corporate plan and new senior staffing structure, which will cut the number of directors from six to four.

Chief executive Steve Bundred has redesigned the top management structure and produced a corporate plan and detailed implementation timetable.
