Stratford-upon-Avon DC officials want to take court action against the organisers of three huge music festivals which took place in Warwickshire, reports the Birmingham Post (p5).

Hundreds of residents complained about the noise and traffic congestion caused by the events held over the summer at a disused airfield.

Alan Savery, Stratford-upon-Avon's director of environmental health will put recommendations to prosecute the organisers to a licensing sub-committee on Monday.

Mr Savery told the paper: 'The council will not tolerate continued contravention of conditions attached to any licence that it issues.'
