Teachers at Wells Cathedral School have been cleared of sexual harassment and impropriety, after a three-month investigation, the Daily Telegraph reports (p10).

The joint inquiry, by Avon and Somerset Police and social workers from Somerset CC, followed parental complaints about alleged improper behaviour by teachers towards girl pupils.

Police said yesterday that they had insufficient evidence to bring charges against the two senior male teachers at the school.
