Teachers are again threatening strike action unless a problem pupil is removed from classes, the Independent reports (p4).

Members of the National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT), at Manton Junior School in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, have voted to strike if the boy returns in the new term.

They claim that the 10-year-old pupil has attacked both staff and pupils at the school. His mother denies he has caused trouble.

Members of the union have held numerous protests this year over unruly pupils.
