A statement on the planned public inquiry into the north Wales child abuse cases is expected from William Hague in the Commons this afternoon.

A written answer is expected on protecting the public against sex offenders.

The remaining stages of the Family Law Bill will be debated in the Commons.

A question will be asked in the Lords about local government reorganisation in Berkshire.

The Lords will debate the Nursery Education etc Bill (committee). The Scottish grand committee, meeting in Perth, will discuss criminal justice in Scotland.

The Scottish affairs select committee, also meeting in Perth, will consider housing and anti-social behaviour.
