Two London authorities which spearheaded privatisation and de-unionisation in the 1980s are to make recognition deals with the GMB union.

The Guardian (June 15, p13) reported that the French owned street cleaning company Onyx - which holds contracts for Westminster and Wandsworth LBC as well as other authorities - has signed a recognition deal with the union.
