A Unison union official yesterday has attacked Rhondda BC's investigation into grants which led to the suspension of three staff, the Western Mail reports (p5). The paper says that Unison warned members not to speak to auditors or police until they had taken advice from the union.

Three planning officials at the council were sent home on full pay last month after an internal inquiry was launched into housing improvement grants.
