The Local Government Association will meet Welsh councils later this month to consider suggestions that their representation on LGA committees should be proportionately less than their electorate would suggest.

Ben Clayden, project team manager at the LGA, said the association was simply trying to resolve complex issues of representation caused by the existence of the Welsh LGA.
