The Independent on Sunday (p4) profiled what it describes as a 'pampered' council estate, now run by a flagship Housing Action Trust.
The trust responsible for Oliver Close in London's Waltham Forest is having the equivalent of £150,000 spent on each terraced house, three times as much as the funds being spent on similar inner city neighbourhoods in London under council control, claims the paper.
