A woman who gained a licence to trade from Waveney DC for her ice cream tricycle, is being forced off the sea front by angry tea vendors, reports the Daily Telegraph (p7).

Pamela Jackson's 1930s ice cream trike has offended some people in the sedate resort of Southwold in Suffolk.

Waveney DC chief executive Malcolm Berridge said: 'We did advertise the fact that Mrs Jackson had applied for a licence last August and there wer 30 days allowed for representations.'.
