Some planning officers from Westminster LBC are concerned about a proposed development in Park Lane which threatens one of the last fragments of Georgian building in the area, reports The Guardian (p12).

A residential and commercial development could see the refurbishment and demolition of some parts of Curzon Place, and the Save Britain's Heritage group are protesting against the scheme.

The development by architect Michael Hopkins will be considered by the council's planning committee tonight.
