YOUR JOB?

I have managed coroner services for Hertfordshire since 2001, including provision of coroner?s officers and clerks and ensuring the council fulfils its responsibilities under the Coroner?s Act 1988.

ANYTHING ELSE?

I am lead adviser on coroner services to the Local Government Association and am on the Home Office Coroner Service Consultative Committee.

YOUR CAREER?

I have a BA (Hons) in applied social science and a diploma in management studies. After university, I worked for Hertfordshire social services in residential services for adults with learning disabilities or mental health problems.

PERSONALLY?

I have two children, Luke, six, and Leila, four. I play football and badminton and am a keen guitarist.
